I can tell Brant is really growing up..........he has several new fascinations:
Yogurant (deoderant) that you put on after your bath so you won't stink!!
Cologne to make you smell "pretty" and.........
Shaving cream! This is his favorite - hopefully he won't try to shave with Brett's razor!
When did my little boy become such a little man?

Brant's Christmas program
Brant's preschool had their Christmas program Sunday night. It turned out really nice - the sanctuary at the church was standing room only!! It was good to see all the parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and various other relatives there supporting the cute little ones in the program. Of course, we did our part to fill up the church - all were present and accounted for - Mommy, Brett, Nini, Pawpaw, Aunt Jessie, Uncle Stevie, Anna Claire, Aunt Candice and Uncle Dereck! It was nice having the whole family there - so glad they are all close and support one another.
The 4 year old class did the Nativity scene. Brant was a precious (of course I may a little bit prejudiced) little lamb. Here are some cute pics of him in his costume......
Brant cheesing it up for the camera! Imagine that - this kid knows he loves having his picture made - and you know what - his Nini loves taking his picture too...
He saw me on the floor taking pictures and just had to wave hi! Forget paying attention to what he was supposed to be doing....
And my favorite - he is just adorable! Those eyes - I could just drown in them - and those cheeks - couldn't you just pinch them! He is Nini's little precious lamb!

It's beginning to look a lot like.........
Christmas??? Maybe???? No snow here :( but it is COLD!! BRRRRRRR.....
Just on question: If I have to freeze why can't I at least see some of the white stuff? Apparently the whole state - except the 3 coastal counties - got the white stuff....Oh well, no white Christmas for Izzy, Brant and Anna Claire.
I can't believe only 19 days until Christmas and I still have no tree! I have got to get one today and get it decorated. I am hoping that Jess and Anna Claire will come help me because they are not sure if they are going to be able to have a tree this year due to the remodeling project! I can't believe Stevie is getting by with that 'cause Jess does love her some CHRISTMAS holidays!!
Tonight is Brant's Christmas program - he is a lamb. I can't wait to see my little man all dressed up - even his hat with ears! When we picked up his costume he told me - "Nini, I can't wear that! It's for girls!!!" Sorry B - last time I looked lambs have wooly heads and ears - not a headful of blonde hair - LOL!

Christmas weather, maybe??
You know you live in the South when you don't even need a coat in the morning when you leave for work but by 4:30 when you get off it is very chilly, especially with the wind chill and 30 mph winds! And, it looks like we may actually get some "Christmas" weather later this week!
The weatherman has mentioned possible snow flurries Friday night!! Yea!! That would be a treat - just sitting and watching the snowflakes swirl.....it's always too wet to stick so no snowmen for us but hey - snow is something we don't see very often - every 5-10 years so we take what we can get.
I really hope we get some flurries - Izzy and Brant are actually old enough to enjoy them! I guess we can wake them up at 3am, put Ziploc baggies on their hands (under gloves, if we can find some), try to find some warm shoes (that are waterproof) and let them play in the slush (snow and sleet mixed)! Yes, I have done this before with my girls when they were little - a snowfall in South MS is something you just don't miss, no matter what the hour! But I do wish I still had my fireplace to warm those cold little hands and feet........

Magic has arrived in the South
For those of you who don't know, Magic the Elf has arrived in Pascagoula, MS. Last night he showed up at my daughter's house and Brant found him!! Magic is the cutest little thing - he moves every night and hides in different places - always watching and reporting back to Santa if you are "naughty or nice".........an extra set of eyes and ears for Santa - if you know what I mean!
Aimee said that after they read their book about Magic and his journey (Elf on the Shelf), Brant was on his BEST behavior! I hope that keeps up because I really would hate for the best grandson in the world to be on Santa's naughty list this year and just get switches and lumps of coal for Christmas............

Meet the .........
I can't believe it! I have finally joined the world of bloggers everywhere!
Why? Because I want to everyone to know about my great family - especially the little angels I call grandchildren.
Brant is the only boy of the bunch! Nini and Pawpaw had 3 daughters and wow - one of them gave us our prince among young men. He is almost 5 and his greatest desire right now is to a) open all his Christmas presents right now or b) get a motorcycle when he gets to be 5!! I really don't see either one happening - at least not in this lifetime....But Brant's big news right now is that he is going to be a big brother in June - he's hoping for a little sister to name Olivia but I guess time will tell....And last but not least is Izzy....she may not be a princess by blood but is definitely a princess where it counts - in my heart! Her dad married my oldest daughter when she was just a baby and although they are divorced now she is still my angel baby. I thank God that her TaTa knows how much she means to us and makes an effort to make sure we keep in touch and get to spend time with her. It is so hard to believe she is almost 6 and in Kindergarten.
